Forestbound is an amazing little company based in New England, producing hand made canvas bags, totes and carryalls, constructed from “found objects.” The company’s founder is also the creator and constructionist of every bag, personally hunting the antique shops for perfect materials. “Found objects” include salvaged sugar-sacks from the 1950’s, canvas from WWII-era military duffel bags, 1930’s mattress covers - you get the idea. One of a kind products, created with items of another era, but complete with pockets for cell phones, wallets, ipods, and all meticulously constructed.

What a great idea for school and community gardens: brightly painted tires, filled with dirt and stacked together as planter beds.
