Roses. Every once in a while, I come across a couple of images with striking similarities. Here are two such examples.

The photo on the left is probably from the book, Glory of Roses by Allen Lacy (1999). Are we standing outside on a rainy day, peering through the wooden window frame at a bucket of roses from the farmer’s market? Perhaps they are sitting on a work bench inside a greenhouse. The photo on the right is not identified. It almost appears to be another view of the roses, but from inside the greenhouse looking out, through the same wooden window frame on another dreary day. 

Either way, the images of the roses are lovely and intriguing as to their similarity, mood and tone.
