Magnolia soulangeana ‘Lennei Alba’ is a small deciduous tree with large white fragrant blossoms appearing in early February (or late January, if the winter is mild).
Chrysanthemum: a great flower to use indoors, right on through December.

I have been waiting over a year for a supply of these small, tree-size Snowball Viburnums, and they finally arrived just in time for fall planting. In the ground, they are about five feet tall, but will grow to ten feet in just a few years. And - they are deer proof!
