A couple of days ago I found this fabulous painting at Miss Folly’s tumblr, and then today, I came across a fabulous photograph on quandplanter’s tumblr. When I saw each of the images, I reblogged them, each for their individual and particular beauty. And now, retrospectively…..I’m looking anew at the two images. Isn’t it lovely? Pure serendipity (possibly my most favorite word, and this is why). Tasha in her youth (perhaps) ….and Tasha as an older, more graceful gardener, still embracing what is most dear.

This is what we call a “serendipitous moment” - one of my favorite things about life.
